All my pieces are real and original moments of my life, watching the environment. I want to preserve the brightness of these moments on a canvass. A trip to China remained as a part of the memory on the “The time of sweet pomegranate” painting. Such a typical for Chinese graphics plot impressed me with its picturesqueness, flower production and brightness of the colour of the ripe of pomegranate seeds. Its fruits, ripening in the sun, started to open still being on a tree and a sweet scent attracted the surrounding birds, which came in packs to enjoy the sweet fruit. I can’t imagine the landscapes without life, without move and dynamics. This is why I choose minute, often second long situations. Here is a sparrow moves around in the branches of the ripe pomegranate, it jumps from branch to branch, flies up to the sky and we can only catch a glance of its shadow, cast on a white wall behind the tree.
