Lexington Avenue, an avenue on the East Side of Manhattan in New York City, runs through Harlem, Carnegie Hill, the Upper East Side, Midtown, and Murray Hill to a point of origin that is centered on Gramercy Park. Lexington Avenue is famous for its wealth of shops, restaurants, cultural venues, and its importance as a major transportation artery. It's one of the most well-known streets in the city and attracts numerous tourists and locals alike. The Chrysler Building is a landmark skyscraper located on Lexington Avenue and 42nd Street. Built in the Art Deco style, it was completed in 1930 and was the tallest building in the world at that time.
