This painting was inspired by the story of an oncologist surgeon in the city of Magnitogorsk, Russia.
I came to see him at 14.00. He looked tired, we started talking, and he told me that that morning he had 4 operations: 2 operations on the mammary gland, surgery on the rectum, and one elderly woman had to remove 12 tumors in the abdomen.
I was amazed by this story. In one morning alone, this surgeon saved the lives of 4 people.
And in 15 years of his practice, he operated more than 5,000 people.
He said that there are very few surgeons, because no one wants to study to be a surgeon, because this is one of the most difficult professions. He said that he could not leave this job because he felt sorry for the people who would not be operated on.
I drew an Atlanta holding two apples. One rotten apple symbolizes tumors, and the second good apple symbolizes recovery.
Figurative painting. Sexy Man oil on canvas. Black and white painting with red apples.
