It was a summer morning, there was a cool breeze, I set up my canvas and waited. The temperature suddenly jumped over 30°C. A great urge to create has overwhelmed me, so I put on the gloves and took the opportunity to return to my childhood activity - fingerpainting.
In the finger strokes I intuitively choose the colours of summer days: yellow of the sun, red of the heat, green of the nature, blue of the water, and gold for radiance. As for the summer night I chose: yellow as of the light from tavernas at the sea shore, red as for the heat in the air, different blues as the colour of the water and cooling air, and gold as for radiance.
Hence the Summer Vibes: Day & Night was created.
Started painting in the morning and finished late in the night, listening to Joe Cockers song: Summer in the city.
Finger painting with oil colours and pigments sticks on canvas.
