    Description

Granny's carpet is a symbol of the era and memory for me. Whilst the carpet slowly became decayed and discolored, people’s lives changed.
The brain is able to alter past events, objects, and personalities, giving them unrealistic value, make illusions and representations that do not reflect the true state of things. This may make it difficult for us to understand what is happening now and may lead us to misjudge the situation or to make wrong decisions.
But memory also has a positive aspect. Memory, by giving more information about the past, helps us to see it in a new light, so that we are ready to scale up the perspectives on the future.
Anyway, memory has a significant impact on our lives. If the brain doesn't have this function of memory, would the human be a homo sapience.

    Acrylic on canvas.

    Concept

The human psyche is of great interest to me. That's where the main focus of my artistic activity is.
Self-identification, adaptation, socialization, initialization, communication, and so on are what everyone inevitably deals with. The human being always turns out to be the central figure in my artwork.

I am interested in how a person feels, positions and expresses himself, how builds his or her life in society. What is a person inside and outside from different points of view? How and why do particular people find particular ways of being in systems? How do the similarities and differences of people affect the lives of individuals and groups of people in general? What motivates one or the other to do certain things daily? What is the origin of everyone's motivations and where do they end up? It's so normally and so complicated at the same time.

I’m endlessly fascinated by what a personality with his/her manifestations is on the scale of the universe, and what the human is relative to different spheres of life and in terms of different fields of knowledge.

By asking myself questions and searching answers every day, I directly or indirectly create portraits of states of mind and soul-attempting. I seek to express the states associated with different kinds of sensory experience, thought activity, to convey people’s relationship with each other in different contexts and with the world.
