Description

Landscape. Spring Day. A gray spring day, the snow has already melted, there is a lonely thin birch tree on the shore, last year's grass is turning yellow. Sea waves lick the rocks on the coast.
The landscape is painted in an impressionistic manner.
A range of blue, beige, gray and green colors is used.
Oil on linen canvas on cardboard 30x40cm.
I use professional quality oil paint, canvas with 3 layers of gesso, high quality varnish.
Personally signed on the front and back.

Juriy is a contemporary Russian artist who works and lives in Estonia.
His artworks are held in private collections in the Europe, US and Asia.
His main technique is oil painting, based on unusual mixture of realism and impressionism.
His favorite subject is seascape, especially during unusual states of nature. Dramatic sky and sea are his favorites. Interaction of people and animals in the environment of the city and nature.
In his works, he tries to interpret a brief form of nature surrounding us and to seize people with their emotions and feelings.
Capturing a moment and portraying it is the most important thing for an artist, in his opinion.
