Description

This is "Winter Tallinn - Uus Street". Cold weather and snow on the street. Sky is violet and gray. Only girl with small dog walking around.
The artwork is painted in an impressionistic manner.
A range of yellow, gray, brown and violet colors are used.
Oil on stretched canvas, 40x50cm, sides are painted, ready to hang.
I use professional quality oil paint, canvas with 3 layers of gesso, high quality varnish.

Juriy is a contemporary Russian artist who works and lives in Estonia.

His main technique is oil painting, based on unusual mixture of realism and impressionism.
His favorite subject is seascape, especially during unusual states of nature. Dramatic sky and sea are his favorites. Interaction of people and animals in the environment of the city and nature.
In his works, he tries to interpret a brief form of nature surrounding us and to seize people with their emotions and feelings.
Capturing a moment and portraying it is the most important thing for an artist, in his opinion.
