Description

This is "Novgorod, The Great, on Excursions", I was in Novgorod, The Great, some years ago, this is fantastic city and place, one is the oldest historic cities in Russia, founded in 859, Father of Russia.
The artwork is painted in an impressionistic manner.
A range of green, gray, brown and blue colors is used.
Oil on stretched canvas, 40x50cm, sides are painted, ready to hang.
I use professional quality oil paint, canvas with 3 layers of gesso, high quality varnish.
Personally signed on the front and back

Juriy is a contemporary Russian artist who works and lives in Estonia.
His artworks are held in private collections in the Europe, US and Asia.
His main technique is oil painting, based on unusual mixture of realism and impressionism.
His favorite subject is seascape, especially during unusual states of nature. Dramatic sky and sea are his favorites. Interaction of people and animals in the environment of the city and nature.
In his works, he tries to interpret a brief form of nature surrounding us and to seize people with their emotions and feelings.
Capturing a moment and portraying it is the most important thing for an artist, in his opinion.
