Lilac-breasted roller
Absolutely amazing and colourful bird , living in Africa.
Of course , then i saw this beauty i decided to painting it. I love the colours purple, rose, red, yellow, green, blue, yellow - all on the same bird. Looks absolutely amazing.

The colours are supposed to represent the many different tribes that make up Kenya's community. It is a beautiful reference to the rich diversity that exists within Kenya.

Its an oil painting on a canvas 40 by 40 cm.

its coming painted around the edges to compliment the art work and doesn't need framing. Each painting is one of a kind.

All my paintings are finished with a good layer of semi-gloss varnish for bright colours and clear permanent protection for years.
