Tulip triptych , yellow tulip
This trilogy of works is a series which I painted three tulips of similar structure but each a distinctive colour and unique style.
The works highlight the similarities, yet acute differences, however the difference is irrelevant as the beauty of everything is unique yet the same.
The three colours which I have chosen are distinct with their own meaning and interpretation.
I personally associate the colours with my own inspiration which I take from each.
We all associate yellow with happiness, femininity, summer days and relaxation.
Red inspires passion, energy, power and creation.
Black, although an intriguing colour normally given a connotation of negativity, yet it also inspires a certain definitiveness and authority. It is the colour that in conjunction with white reminds us of the balance of life and for me it leaves a positive reminder of the eternal opposition.
It is my true love of the natural world within which we exist that I take my inspiration for such works as these.
It is a constant reminder that we are little more than gatekeepers of this beautiful planet.
It is our struggle to keep this planet in balance, harmony and health for future generations which is my message through my nature works.
Each unique work is painted on canvas with an acrylic base background with oil paints used for the main work and structure itself.
The works are available as an individual work or as a set of three together.
The size is 35 by 45 cm dept size is 2 cm.
The painting comes signed and dated by the artist with a Certificate of Authenticity.
It's coming painted around the edges to compliment the art work and doesn't need framing. Each painting is one of a kind.
Will be shipped in a box, fully tracked.
