I have never been to Japan, despite this, I am in love with its history and beauty.
The Fujiyama volcano last erupted in 1707, and now only from time to time the clouds of steam break through its crust, similar to the measured breathing of a sleeping giant. His sleep seems to be sound. For many people, climbing this mountain is a sacred rite, because the mountain is revered as the abode of the ancient Japanese gods. For others, it is an act of strengthening self-discipline and a way of physical cleansing. For me, this is a distant and alluring beacon somewhere in the East. And all that I can do today is to devote a picture to the mountain and wait for the day when I can stand at its foot and tremblingly admire its greatness and beauty.
