This work won 1st prize in the "Still Life 2" competition from ARTSHOWINTERNATIONAL in 2021.
Also, Still Life with Maple Leaves was a finalist in the online exhibition In Search of Beauty. The exhibition is organised by the renowned art gallery "People and Pictures". My painting won the popular vote in this competition, becoming the best in this category among the 20 finalists.

In my youth, I was fascinated by the beauty and craftsmanship of Flemish and Dutch still lives. The painting "Still Life with maple leaves" is an attempt to reread the old masters’ traditions of creating harmonious compositions. It is a search for picturesque combinations and beauty in everyday objects.
Pumpkins from my own garden is a part of composition for this still life.In this work, I want to show the fleeting of beauty of ordinary things.
