I don't know why, but I don't paint still lifes very often. I once cleaned the rest of the vegetables, and something caught my eye. Onions, tomatoes, garlic cloves with a set of pepper and salt created an interesting combination of colors. Because of that this picture and one more were created.
In these paintings, I use the classic 3-layer smooth technique with oil paints when using brushes. I use quality canvas in a relative composition of cotton and synthetics for painting. After complete drying, I glue the canvas to hardboard using a special transparent double-sided adhesive foil. As a last point, repainted with protective varnish.
