The picture was painted after a walk in our beautiful fairy forest, near the small town of Bilina, in the north of the Czech Republic. For residents of the city, it is one of the most popular and favorite places. For several years, they have been supplemented with wooden statues of heroes of fairy tales and cartoons, to the great joy of children. I hope over time I will write some new pictures and show all the charm of this amazing place.
For painting I use quality canvas in a relative composition of cotton and synthetics. I usually use a three to four layer technique. After full drying, I glue the canvas to hardboard with the help of a special transparent double-sided adhesive foil. As a final point, varnished with protective varnish.
