I work on small formats of canvas (20 X 20cm) on which I apply myself to treat a principal subject: the sky
Using all the nuances of colors, of lights, I try in my research to create by the sensual gesture of the knife an atmosphere sometimes calmed, sometimes tortured, generating an impression, creating an emotion.
My artistic approach consists, through the colored harmony, by the means of the technique of the knife, to seek the most intense emotion in each of my works.
This unceasing search for the emotion provoked by the color, the gesture, the intensity of the act of "painting", defines my approach.

My artistic approach consists, through coloured harmony, by means of the technique of the knife, to seek the most intense emotion in each of my subjects.
This sensual approach to painting constantly motivates this need to express in each canvas the sensations suggested by the model, to find under each square millimetre of skin the vibrations of a living body, behind each landscape the secret atmosphere it conceals, through each look the feelings that emanate from its personality.
When I succeed in creating the desired emotion in the movement of the knife applying the paste, I then dream that it will touch the spectator, surprise him, lead him to experience a strange, ambiguous sensation, to react to this vision.
This unceasing search for the emotion provoked by the colour, the gesture,
the intensity of the act of "painting", defines my approach.
