    Description

"Circles" - Oil on canvas 60 x 70 cm. 2014 was the first picture composed of circles. Henrik Saar composed this image inspired by the rosary prayer and transformed each bead into circles with different content. There is not necessarily any direct connection between each circle. They are used as pop-up thoughts that flews through one mind while passing pearl for pearl. Composing in circles gives the artist the freedom to let go of the fantasy To create whatever you feel, just like a prayer, where you let your heart speak freely with God.
"Circles" continued in a series of paintings about the artist's family life, finished in 2017 as the Contemporary marriage frieze.

  • About this artist

    Concept

Henrik Saar is a visual poet and creates his pictures as if it was poetry. Each painting cuts off a piece of himself and a part of the world that has made him. His most fantastic vision is to work with foresight. His concept comes from believing that he is the sincere "Nuntius Artis" - The messenger. And for that, he is being awarded the prize HERMEZ the messenger.
In the spirit of this vision, he has made some philosophical thoughts available on Henrik Saar's Art page on Facebook. TRANSFORMATIONALISM is the title
Transformationalism is a concept to describe contemporary art as it develops around the millennial shift. The millennialists are a generation behaving utterly different from the previous generation, and such is everything that surrounds us. Therefore art must reflect this transforming world differently than before as well. The expression of the soft revolution, where we transform the world from a hardware stage to a software stage. Henrik Saar has presented that theme as "Transformationism," and has been entitled as Nuntius Artis by the judges of Accademia Italia In Arte Nel Mindo. The visual messenger, who conveys the artistical poetry of society's development.
