The Lost in Solitude - Galaxy Series consists of 20 oil paintings size 20cm x 20cm x 4 with a space of 6cm in between each painting

What is our place in the world, where do I
belong, and where do we go after this tragic
event that has affected the entire population
and world.

While in confinement the recent events have
availed me to reflect on my place and how it is
reflected in the world and galaxy.
Watching/reading I was struck how divided a
universe we have become. It seemed that every
segment of the population is isolated from each
other. My interpretation is that we are
fractured and separated from each other. I
personally felt “boxed in” but the more I
reflected I saw light at the end of the hardship
we have endured..

I hope my work inspires the observer to expand
their role in the universe and to open their
minds to embrace the world, people, and
brightness that we can all share and treasure.

Concept

Raised in a country known for its masters Picasso, Dali, Goya, I was drawn to art early on. I was fascinated by the emotions evoked by an image, the juxtaposition of colors, textures, mosaics, drawing—In addition to my paintings; through my work I have also explored the art of sculpture and the variety of tools and materials such as sparkles or wood to create a new dimensional texture. This not only draws the eyes to an image but also creates the desire to touch.
Having acknowledged that many themes have already been explored the goal is now to address a variety of subjects: from the lighter side of life to the darker side of one’s emotions, combining elements from the past and the present in a single image. The idea is to present a vision of the world using not only ideas from the past but also combining them with a modern-day vision and modern materials.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
