Description

I intended to look at this painting as a metaphorical portrayal of the viewer's personal journey in life on many levels. The coastal line where the sea waves meet the sandy and rocky beach represents the intersection of two worlds, symbolizing the meeting of the spectator past and present and their journey towards their future. The vastness of the ocean with the unknown horizon and the endless possibilities that lie ahead countes with rocky but firm shoreline symbolizing not only a place of stability but also comfortable routine. The metaphor of headed up speed boat speaks to stay flexible in the face of changing circumstance and stay ready to quickly pivot plans, just as the speed boat maneuvers through rough waves.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
