The painting is a part of series "Another view", dedicated to women on well known paintings. We know paintings and artists name, but rare somebody knows a name of woman who was posing for this painting. This series is about these women.

"Girl with peaches" is one of the most famous painting of russian artist Valentin Serov. Despite the fact that almost everybody in Russia knows the painting, not many peoples know that girls name who was painted there is Vera Mamontova.

My "Girl with peaches" shows fictitious Vera's view (girl on the painting) on the same situation, same objects and colors, but she feels and paints them in her own way.

Concept

I am a professional full-time artist.

My studio is in the countryside in small town near Moscow, closeness to nature inspire me to paint nature related objects. I create my paintings mostly with oil, but usually I “spice” my paintings with some uncommon type of oil such as metallic oil, oil with coarse grind pigments or with ink and markers.

My artworks are in private collections in Russia, USA, Europe and Asia.
