The hills of Kyiv, Shchekavitsa mountain 2018, 30x60 cm, oil/canvas
I remember how abruptly came cold weather and I had to get a winter jacket again. And I wanted to do oil studies on the hills of Kyiv so much!
That is how this landscape was painted. Merely started, because I felt cold and went home, where I finished it in a warm.
Besides, this painting depicts the Shchekavytsia mountain, really interesting and amazing place in Kyiv! It reveals beautiful panorama of Obolon' district and the left bank of the Dnipro river. But it's often windy, especially in winter when the frost comes.
