    Description

Lin canvas on a chassis wood

Blue Eye of Buracona is a lava tube, which is currently destroyed by the erosion of the sea. The collapsed cave has an opening to the sea and a second opening to the surface, the cave is filled with sea water connected directly with the sea.
The opening allows sunlight to fall on the sea water and light thus drawing the shape of an eye. The deep blue color is reflected in water. The result is breathtaking and is a reason why this place is so popular.

  • About this artist

    Concept

    Artistic process
Marie-Ange Busellato, of italian origin, is a painter born in a little village, Onoz in Belgium. Passionate about drawing since childhood, she obtained diplomas in painting, aesthetic analysis, art history and drawing after her training at the Academy of Fine Arts (Belgium) but also during her workshops in France with renowned painters.
A colorist first of all, she is influenced by Jean-Baptiste Corot, Edward Hopper and René Magritte, but also by the impressionists, the exaltation of the painting of Vincent Van Gogh, by Vassily Kandinsky, Gustave Klimt... The figurative is since its beginnings widely represented in its themes, but as in her pictorial approach her latest paintings want to demonstrate a technique, an acquired technique and maturity that tend towards an abstraction even in its landscapes. Oil is privileged in his works. Every painting represents for her the beginning of an adventure and a new challenge.
