The most difficult stage in realism painting is working on the form. You need to understand the shape of each petal, its color, the texture of the veins, and draw each petal in accordance with the general shape of the flower.
Don’t overdo it with details, decide what is important and where your gaze will rest.
Realism is, without a doubt, the most laborious style, after which abstraction will seem to you an easy warm-up.
