    Description

In the hidden realms of the wilderness, where the heart of the earth lies anchored in roots, a dense undergrowth of forgotten dreams unfolds. Rotten branches twist like the veins of a forgotten reality, and fallen trees lean against each other in silent dialog. Foliage, like gilded veils, covers the conglomerate of reveries and longings. Burst mounds of earth tell of battles long past, while nature rests quietly within itself. These beautiful panoramas of bizarre, fantastic forms and arrangements are reminiscent in their diversity of a silent desire and a secret eroticism. In the hustle and bustle of nature, a mystical aura unfolds, capturing the breath of the dreamer and expressing the unspoken in the roots of the earth.

  • About this artist

    Concept

In the environment I discover the motifs and ideas for my artistic work. This is based primarily on the observation that it can no longer be solely a matter of processing natural form resources, but rather to take up in a pictorial way the artificially or industrially created that has been brought to them and partly penetrated them, and to show it in its exciting symbiosis with nature.

My aim is to present an adequate formal language in order to visualize such tense or tension-laden 'encounters' in pictures - in order to point them out, to problematize them, also to criticize them, but above all to sensitize their viewers. Chosen as a conscious counterpart to the current, fast-moving, product- and media-driven existence.

Aesthetic stimuli, oddities, contradictions inherent in natural resources make up the exciting potential of the world of motifs on which my artistic activity is based. I see further points of attraction above all in acting on the border to the (re)recognizable, where exciting contrasts of solid and dissolving form, of homogeneous and contrasting color nuances, of organic details and atmospheric moods, of spatial sections and temporal dimensions, of the concrete and the imaginary open up. In this way, the space for associations can be created, oscillating between fantasy, memory and also criticism.
To engage with one's surroundings always means to take more than a little distance from everyday life and to be prepared to immerse oneself in new worlds. This world of motifs, which apart from the aesthetic moment invites the viewer to work out its contents, is of great importance to me.

To let new visual and emotional stimuli flow into the artistic work, certainly opens up new "horizons" not only for me.
