Montblanc is the capital of the Conca de Barberà, in the province of Tarragona, in Catalonia, in the Northwest of Spain. A medieval town of great historical importance, surrounded by medieval walls, where in the center of the town, I have my second studio-art gallery. It usually snows between January and February, which dresses the walls in a beautiful white, transmitting a lot of serenity and peace. I needed to paint this picture watching the snow fall, which produced intense emotion and melancholy in me. Relaxing work, worked in many shades of white with paint fillings and at the same time, with a lot of detail. Transparencies with glaze technique, made since the Renaissance. A slow and very difficult process.
