The Glorieta river runs through the town where I live, Alcover. I walk this path every day in all seasons of the year. One autumn day, I saw a special light after it had rained, and the smell of wet earth and vegetation inspired me to grab my brushes and colors and start painting immediately. It is a very special painting for me as it is so close to my house. In this river in summer, we bathe with my family. Autumn colors are protagonists in this work of art. Worked with more accentuated paint impastoes in the lower part, to give volume and proximity to the stones of the path, and the rest worked with very fine brushes to give good detail, a highly valued feature in my work.
