This work is made in the Catalan Pyrenees, in the north of Spain, right on the border touching France. In the high mountains, you will find this lake, called Guingueta d'Àneu lake, where its calm waters reflect with a special light in autumn, the trees between yellows, ochres, golds and coppers, oranges, reds, siennas... magical place that transmits a lot of peace and serenity, of unparalleled beauty. Favorite place for trout fishermen, where they spend hours surrounded by peace, tranquility and beauty. Crystal clear and transparent waters that come from the high Pyrenees mountains.
Work with some paint fillings in the treetops to give volume to the trees, and many glazes to achieve the reflection of the water and its transparency. The rest of the painting worked with very fine brushes to take maximum care of the detail.
