Molinos de Duero is a town in the North of Spain, crossed by the Duero River. It has a special light, with more bluish and intense greens. Walking one afternoon in May, looking for inspiration along the Duero river, I discovered these reflections with beautiful sunset light. It gave me a lot of emotion feeling the calm and peace. I took a photo to capture that magical moment and then transferred it to the canvas with my paints. Work with a lot of detail, complicated to elaborate well the proportions and inclinations of the houses. Worked with very fine brushes and a palette with a wide variety of colors, with very clean and intense greens.

Concept

Jordi is a realist-style landscape painter, born in Barcelona.
For Isern, painting is the expression of a feeling that pushes him to capture what he loves most: and it is Nature, the most important heritage we have.
Art, for him, is a vital necessity. He understands it as a way of life.
With his oil paintings on canvas and his elaborate style, safe and spontaneous at the same time, he tries to convey what he feels when he is in front of a landscape: inner well-being, peace, stillness, calm, beauty and serenity. He considers art to be an exceptional means of awakening the soul. Therefore, it has to convey and excite.
With his long career of thirty years dedicated to art, his work has reached different Asian and European countries, mainly Japan, where since 2015 he has held nine individual exhibitions in different Japanese cities.
