OIL ON CANVAS.
Albons is a town in the province of Girona, in Catalonia (Spain). The springs are usually with an explosion of colors from the spectacular flowers and trees. These yellow flowers with the tender greens of April, transmitted me a lot of positive energy, peace, serenity and well-being; that inspired me to put it on my canvas. The morning mists of the mountains and their filtered light, prompted me to create this work.
The close-ups have thicker paint, to provoke closeness and highlight the prominence of the flowers and the foreground. The filtered light and the mists, I have achieved them with delicate and slow glazes, in a process of many pictorial sessions.
