Description

The 1/10th copper sheet is heated with a blowtorch before working, this makes it more malleable and accentuates my patinas during the finishes which are done using steel wool and varnish in successively superimposed layers.
Embossed copper sheet, resinated and fixed in 3D on plexiglass support painted with a knife in acrylic paint and oil. Glazes, metallic powders and varnishes. Patinas and varnishes.
I create a subtle balance between the background (paint) and the form (copper) regardless of the support.
Always innovating by trying to break the usual artistic forms.
In perpetual search of the light which comes to caress my work either by painting (oil or acrylic), or by my copper where the sun reconstituted by the reflections of a metal bump
Sculpture of a form that is still alive, from the finistères of pumps in the deposit of animals or a nod to today.

Concept

It takes me about a month to make a work, between the drying of the background and that of my forms that I come to embed in 3D; so I work on at least three creations at the same time ... and I slow down a bit because I have so much imagination.

Does this art work need a frame?

In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
