I showcased the idea, that our own worst and best judge is our Self, and he is always watching us (Past, Present and Future).
His attitude is powerful, therefore you can't see his face, but he can see yours. All of the paintings have the same motif, this masked figure, covered by a baroque drapery, inspired by Caravaggio.
I think that no one, not even ourselves can see our true self and i represented that into my paintings.
The Mask that we put into the society and the uncertainty that we have in our everyday life.
In terms of materials, i used a combination of damar resin, turpentine and linseed oil and the tehnique camaieu, so my paintings will have the elasticity and quality to resists over hundreds of years, just like the baroque and reinassence painters which i was inspired from.
