Description

Indonesia is a country of great natural wealth and beauty. But if the wealth of nature and beauty were not based on any personal awareness of keeping one another, caring for and cultivating then nature would also be spoiled. "Purple hil" is a journey and a form of disappointment, emotion, when I go to one of the little hills and mountains in the central highlands. When I got to the top, I saw a lot of garbage lying around and piles of old people camping. "Purple hil" is also a visual image of a hill, a green mountain, beautiful and ill, defiled.

Most of my artwork is inspired by human problematics, such as illness mental condition, sexual violence, rape victims, broken home, traumatic, and other social propylons. The black and white in my painting as the most essential symbol of dualism, feminine-masculinity, sad-happy .
