The theme of eroticism and reflections is one that I continually revisit. It represents a synthesis of the forbidden and the obscure. When everything in a painting is obvious, it becomes a simple image. But when the viewer is puzzled, intrigued, or at least surprised, it indicates that there is an interest, either in the subject or in the image.
This is already a significant achievement, as it means that the viewer’s eye or brain has been caught.
It may even be the dream of every artist to have their painting capture someone else’s attention.
In my opinion, I have succeeded in doing so.
