Summer garden
The painting inspired by the work "Summer Garden" (Natsu no niwa) is a novel by Japanese female author - Kazumi Yumoto. The novel was nominated for the German Juvenile's Literature Prize in 1996 and won the Boston Globe-Horn Award in 1997.
The summer garden is quiet, gentle, and deep. Summer slowly passed with bold Japanese flavors (watermelon, fireworks...). Although slow but not boring, the story evokes in readers a childhood searching for things that "you will know when you grow up", reminding us of childhood memories that seemed to have been buried.
Besides that is an important lesson in life: changing and accepting life as it is is the way to live better. A story not too long but well worth reading, Summer Garden will be an interesting experience for those who love lightness and calmness.
