Description

I create my works every day with the thought that they are the alter ego of the artist himself/herself. I believe that from birth to the present, I have gone through a variety of experiences that have shaped who I am. I continue to draw my original character ANGELBABY to express this. That's all there is to it. That's all there is to it. Minimalism. I am sure that deep down inside I am trying to be a minimalist.

Concept

What is depicted in the work is like a story that describes everything from the artist's own birth to the present. In other words, the work itself is the artist's own self. The character ANGELBABY was created based on the image of his own mind and character from his childhood. From the time she was born, she was feeble-minded and weak-minded. Her body was somewhat white and thin. However, he was honest and kind to others. That is exactly the kind of angelic child I imagined in my mind. From there, ANGELBABY was born, like ANGEL's BABY. ANGELBABY also contains elements of Japanese Kawaii culture and subculture. I draw with the image of Western paintings that only a Japanese person can draw. And his works are drawn like doodles that anyone can draw. When I was a student, my study notebook was full of doodles. I loved doodling anyway. I still draw like a scribbler because of the remnants of my love for scribbling.
