Van Gogh Church in Nuenen, the Netherlands. When I painted this picture, I was most concerned about the angle of the sun. It is a gentle building, but it is surrounded by trees and the entrance is on the north side, so it does not receive much sunlight. I wanted to express the three walls with the same brightness as much as possible, so I searched for the greatest common divisor. As a result, the sun is high in the sky, and the light is diffused by the thin overcast, so I painted with the feeling of receiving reflected light from below. I changed the appearance of the columns on the outside to larger bricks instead of smaller bricks to give a little more stability to the overall image. The window in the middle of the picture had a window shape but was blocked by the same specifications as the wall, but I opened it and depicted a flower inside. The trees on either side were tilted inward so that they would not interfere with the presence of the cross. The main characters are the church and the clematis lorguti flower, while the other characters are drawn a bit dimly in the distance to make them stand out. The language of flowers of the clematis is said to be "beauty of the heart" and "spiritual beauty.
