Space, tranquility, luxury, idyllic villages, gingerbread houses with manicured lawns, special places and a beautiful view over the countryside of the Vechte.
The Vechte is the river in Germany and the Netherlands. During the summer, the water meanders slowly through a landscape of forests, heather, fields and lawns, while in the winter months it can turn into a river with a strong current. The river is said to derive its name from a German prince named Vechtan, who is said to have drowned in the river around AD 400.
This artwork is made with oil colors and a palette knife.
