The Fall of the House of Usher. This new pictorial project was born thanks to the story entitled: The Fall of the House of Usher, written by the renowned North American writer Edgar Allan Poe, in whose literary narration he tells a story that revolves around a series of situations that are lived in the house , of an aristocratic family of the XIX century. From my visual, graphic and therefore artistic point of view, I wanted to highlight part of the visual image that this story contains, since the specific descriptions that the author makes of them are evident. This project was commissioned by the director of the cultural house, Casa del Libro Total de Bucaramanga, and was originally intended as an illustration; But from my pictorial vision, I wanted to take advantage of all the resources that the story of Allan Poe gave me in my hands, since the dramatic and theatrical and sometimes cinematic content that I managed to obtain in the paintings is evident. For this purpose it was necessary for me to contact some actors in the region, hire a fashion designer to make the costumes and clothing for the actors, and request respective permits in a large house or mansion that belongs to the cultural heritage of the city and later, make a small photographic staging there, since photography plays a fundamental role in my pictorial work. At the moment the 9 pictorial works are exhibited in room 1 of the Casa del Libro Total de Bucaramanga and have been visible by the Bumangués public since August of this year. They can also be accessed virtually by writing the name of the work: The Fall of the House of Usher, at the following link: https://www.ellibrototal.com/ltotal/
