This painting is part of a compound double painting. Its twin is sold separately, it is not mandatory to buy them together, but recommended. These works of art are a tribute to the Amazon rainforest, its wildlife, its indigenous peoples, who are struggling to save their home. The composition is rich and consists of many animal species of the Amazon rainforest and other forests of South America. The red howler monkey, the scarlet macaw, the blue morpho butterfly, and a yellow-banded-dart frog surround the fascinating jaguar. The silhouette of the jaguar on the background and the eyes of that in the foreground are of precious 24-carat gold leaf.
