This piece demonstrates the fusion of human architecture and Wildlife. It is one of my artistic ways to showcase the problem of loss of habitats for the many species in the world, caused by deforestation and human expansion. However, this piece wants to be playful and pay homage to the animals and nature represented.
This artwork is inspired by one of my favorite artists and architects, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who built the fabulous Kunsthaus of Vienna. In projecting this painting I was wondering how this house could look like, if it is inhabited by animals of the forest, in a fusion of human creative architecture and wild habitat: An Architectonic Forest! Some details with silver leaf make the surface of the oil painting precious and shiny.
