A family that plays together stays together!
This was a usual scene in the evenings at that home. The lady would finally blurt out, I was almost winning today, and then kids ruined my game. The gentle man would respond, 'You should have taken the help of the last kid too to come to this realisation faster'. On a rare day, the lady was finally winning in the next few moves, and she would laugh victoriously. The next moment, when she looked at the board, it was shaken beyond repair, and with a hidden, sly smile, her husband would be looking to the other side. And he usually never cheated in a fair, winning game with her!
I have portrayed here an Indian family and household of bygone days! This is purely from memory, and I'm trying to reminisce as much as I can, so it's more realism than semi-abstract.
