What this work is about is the title itself to tell us. On the Lungonaviglio della Martesana, in fact, the water that comes from Lake Como across the Adda river in Italy flows slowly towards Milan. When the sun begins to lower towards the horizon, this placid flow marries beautifully with the golden light, which in autumn enhances the warm tones of the vegetation, reflected in the waters, which enjoy moving its shapes ... of these enchanted moments that the painter Claudio Pavone wanted to fix in a superb impressionist painting, made with vigor in large and inspired brushstrokes.
