This is undoubtedly a particular work! "Boschetto a Cernusco" is an oil on panel painted en plein air on the edge of the famous Italian Gardens of Cernusco sul Naviglio, close to the Martesana. On that spring day, the painter Claudio Pavone turned his back on the orderly and now tamed nature of the Gardens to turn his attention, fascinated, to a grove of tall trees that offer their cool shade to passers-by. And he tried to convey the emotion and the magic that that dense group of plants gave to him as an artist. On that table, in fact, we see all this, fixed in those unusual colors, with evanescent shades that describe the complicated and playful tangle of the branches caressed and penetrated by the morning light ... By staring at it, you relive a moment of ecstasy in front of you. to the enchantment of that “ordinary” fragment of nature that the artist wanted to share with his audience.
