"Wilderness is a very unique experience for me as an artist. Life by ocean surrounded wild nature gives much power and inspiration for art. And the most interesting aspect which I noticed it is a feeling that you are at the edge of the Earth. In a straight line from the coast in 6000km is Antarctica.
Weather is often variable, even during the day from dark heavy clouds to bright clean sky.
But there are some special mornings when you open the door, and you see a fog above the ocean and you feel very fresh, a bit frozen air. I call it breath of Antarctica. I am gazing into the distance and imagine that I can see or feel the Antarctica"
