In my personal vision, the Corsair, from the Latin cursus, represents the strength of the ego in all its splendor, its soul freely forging its own destiny. In his race, with the vast and infinite setting of the sea, he traces his path. The Haloed Corsair follows a Christlike path. He freely decides to put his qualities in the service of his King; this testifies to a plume and a sense of sacrifice of all beauty. I get to compare the corsair's sacrifice to the very model of Christ, mastering the elements and walking on water, claiming to be a double-edged sword and sacrificing himself in the service of God his Father. Thus the I Corsair is a sword: one sharp directed towards himself, the other towards the world and the duties it implies.
