Description

I painted a picture of myself in the middle of a fight with my girlfriend. I asked her to pose for me, and before I knew it, we were fighting, and I took pictures during the fight and used the croquis and photos as reference for my work. I think the subtle anger shows in her expression.

Concept

Reality" is what I value most in my paintings. I aim to create paintings in which the viewer feels not only the atmosphere and realism of the motif, but also the "reality" of the background of the motif, the relationship between the motif and myself, and my own presence in the scene.

I look to places I have been, places I am now, and people close to me as motifs. I believe that by looking at these things, we can see things that we do not usually think about or see.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
