The house in Kanazawa where I live is built on top of a cliff and has a great view of the trees, the city, and the mountains. As night falls, the view through the window becomes bluer and bluer, which is very beautiful, and I painted on the canvas every few days while actually observing the change (about 20 to 30 minutes). Also, it was very difficult to see the colors of the paints on the canvas and palette because the room naturally became darker as it became darker outside. I remember the colors on the palette, so I had to make some calculations as I created the colors and put them on the canvas, so I could not imagine what the final color would look like while I was working. I take such unstable elements as a positive thing and create every day.
