This Work is inspired by the maternal figure, that female figure present in childhood that with the simple act of repairing a garment symbolically taught us that what is broken, what is injured, can somehow be repaired.
We all have wounds that have not been healed that reappear during our lives, we cannot treat those wounds as the consumer society taught us. I replace it, throw it away, buy a new one.
Therefore, if we want to truly heal that which hurts us as individuals and as a society, will it be necessary to resort to that almost lost act, so simple and so symbolic? ..........
REPAIR to heal.
