This is a fifth painting from “Almost Abstract Landscape” series and is probably the one that is closest to abstraction, by far. By the bright blue colour, contrasting with rather dark and dull background, you may guess a presence of water at the bottom and a hint of blue sky at the top of the artwork. The rest is up to your imagination. The longer you look at it, the more you are likely to discover. The idea behind this oil painting is to show how differently each person, with just a little guidance, will perceive the picture... how our brain creates images from the small patterns that are stored in our memory…
The artwork is in private collection, but the artist is open for commissions and may repeat the artwork if you really like it.
