Description

Summer heat, the Sun has reached its zenith and everything around, almost literally is filled with its energy. Sometimes, during long summer days one may get a feeling that surrounding objects got almost overcharged with warmth and sunlight and start reflecting it by themselves, when hot air starts making things to look blurry, bringing the surrounding real world to the edge of abstraction… This extremely warm and bright oil painting is fully abstract. Nevertheless, you may still find some traces of a form in it. Such approach is often used by Zakhar in his abstract and semi-abstract artworks, when he plays around the edge of figurative – real world and an abstract – fantasy one.

The artwork is in private collection, but the artist is open for commissions and may repeat the artwork if you really like it.

Concept

For me creating art is a way to discover the surrounding world, gain some experience, and a possibility to understand how I feel about various things. In my artworks I aim to express what I feel about the object, rather than how I see it. Consequently, many of my paintings are somewhere on the edge of figurative and abstract art.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
