Description

The support is made by stretching a canvas on a panel. The raised areas are painted with modeling paste, a paint with large particles mixed in. The painting is done in oil on acrylic. When I was traveling on an express train, I put a plastic bottle of water on the back of the seat in front of me. When the train moved, the surface of the water shook and the light reflected on the backrest also shook. I wanted to express this shaking.

Concept

I'm exploring places that people can't see, such as relationships between people and people inside. Since the style has not yet been determined, I use various methods, but I focus on paintings that focus on the surface texture.
I observe a variety of people, from those who get on the train to those who are closely involved. Everyone in Tokyo feels lonely. Also, I often see things made by people. The folk costumes and the latest architecture are all around us, and I think it is very interesting. Not only people, but also trees, flowers, water streams and creatures. We are conscious of the connection with people in everything.
When you draw, you work like a prayer. May this person be saved.
